Alternate Method to Connect Roku to the Internet

You can also provide an internet connection to your Roku device without connecting a WiFi. That can be done using an ethernet cable.

To set up internet on Roku using an ethernet cable,

[1] Connect one end of the cable to your Roku device’s Ethernet port and the other to your router.

[2] Then, go to the Network option from Settings and choose Set up connection > Wired options.

After doing so, your Roku device will automatically connect to the internet. However, this method would also be helpful when the WiFi speed is inadequate.

What to do if I can’t get my Roku to connect to WiFi?

If you cannot connect to the internet, try restarting your router. If resetting your router does not improve your connection, the issue may be the strength of the wireless signal. So try placing the router closer to your Roku device.
